Click switches on interest for 360 video

24 July 2013

With 360 degree video technology being increasingly discussed, it was refreshing to see a video feature from BBC Click about the uses and benefits of using 360 video. Click discussed how a previously niche market is now becoming potentially more mainstream with adoption increasing among general consumers and 360 aficionados.

However, this is merely scratching the surface with applications for 360 degree video becoming more and more diverse and interesting, take for example a few of our recent projects;

The Gadget Show: An interactive programme promotion that allowed users to sync their mobile devices to the live broadcast, letting them explore the program in full 360 degrees. See our 360 Video showreel here

BWIN Poker Trainer: By simplifying and enhancing the experience using 360 video, BWIN hopes to broaden the appeal of poker to a wider audience with this intuitive training tool. Visit and try the poker trainer here

Interactive Tours: Having visited the London Boat Show earlier this year, using our unique VideoMap360 software, we have integrated 360 degree video with the exhibition floor plan, allowing users to experience the show they missed, just as if they were there.
